You will obtain relevant approval prior to use the data.
Access to the data will be limited to the personnel named in the Data Application form. You will not distribute nor permit others to distribute any of the data to a person who is not listed. If new staff join the research team, you will submit an additional copy of Application.
You will store and analyze the data in a secure computing environment.
You will cite the data as the data source in all reports, presentations, and publications based on the data. Citations will appear in footnotes or in the reference section of any manuscripts.
At the conclusion of the proposed research, you will provide a copy of any publication or report based in whole or in part on the data to the author of the study/owner of the data.
If the data owner determines that you are in violation of the terms and conditions, you will destroy the data set, and any derivative data files, upon request.
The following Terms and Conditions govern your use of the MQUAD Dataverse application (the Site) and the services provided through it (collectively, the Service). By accessing, registering for, or using the Service, you agree to comply with these Terms and Conditions, as well as any applicable policies, guidelines, and operating procedures. MQUAD Dataverse reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to modify or update these Terms and Conditions at any time without prior notice. Account - A user-controlled account protected by a user-created username and password, which provides authorized access to MQUAD Dataverse and its features, including uploading, downloading, and managing datasets.
Registration Information - Information required to create a user account, including, but not limited to, the user's name, email address, affiliated organization, and other registration details.
User – Any individual or organization that has registered an account and is authorized to access and use MQUAD Dataverse/Collab in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
Data Use Agreement – A legally binding agreement that defines the terms and conditions governing access to and use of restricted datasets. Users must accept the agreement before downloading or accessing restricted data.
Dataverse – A virtual container used to organize, store, manage, and share datasets. A Dataverse can contain multiple datasets.
Dataset – A collection of one or more data files and their associated metadata representing a study, survey, experiment, publication, or other research output.
Depositor (Uploader) – The user who uploads a dataset, including its files and metadata, to a Dataverse.
Download Information – Information recorded when a dataset is downloaded, including, but not limited to, the user's account details, download date and time, and the names of the downloaded files.
Metadata – Information describing a dataset, including its title, author(s), description, keywords, publication date, subject matter, and other relevant details that facilitate discovery, citation, and reuse.
Author – The individual(s) who created the data or conducted the research that resulted in the dataset. The Author may, but is not necessarily, the same as the Uploader/Depositor.
Publish – The action of making a dataset publicly available and discoverable through MQUAD Dataverse, subject to the applicable access permissions and licensing terms.
Unpublished Dataset – A dataset that has been uploaded but has not yet been published. It is accessible only to the Depositor and users who have been granted appropriate permissions.
Both registered Users and unregistered Guests may browse and download publicly available datasets from MQUAD Dataverse, subject to the applicable access permissions. However, access to certain features, including uploading, managing, publishing datasets, and accessing restricted content, requires a registered user account.
When creating an account, you must provide accurate, complete, and up-to-date Registration Information. You are responsible for maintaining the accuracy of this information. MQUAD Dataverse/Collab reserves the right to refuse registration, suspend, or terminate an account if the information provided is inaccurate, incomplete, or misleading, or if these Terms and Conditions are violated.
You are solely responsible for all activities conducted through your account and for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. You must not share your account or allow others to use it without your explicit authorization. If you become aware of any unauthorized access to or misuse of your account, you must notify the MQUAD support team (info@mquad.org.) immediately.

Survey Data: Responses obtained from surveys hosted by Customers on the MQUAD platform.
Survey Respondent: The individual who receives and responds to a survey initiated by the Customer on the MQUAD platform.
We collect the following information from our Customers:
Information: When Customers register an account on MQUAD, we collect Customer Personal Data including email addresses, additional contact details, IP addresses, location data, device information, OS details, and other information reasonably necessary for facilitating account creation as part of Service provision.
Billing Information: For payment transactions on MQAUD, we collect billing details from Customers, including billing addresses and financial/payment information in accordance with applicable laws.
Usage information and Account settings: In the course of using our Services, we may collect usage information related to Customers, such as visited web pages the Customer visited, language preferences, etc.
Personal Data of Survey Respondents: Customers using our Services may upload contact details, including Personal Data, of Survey Respondents to MQUAD for the purpose of collecting Survey Data from Survey Respondents. In such cases, the Customer acts as the Data Fiduciary and we process this data in accordance with the agreement between us and the Customer.

8.2 Survey Data: Customers have control over the management of Survey Data and can delete it from our online systems or download it to their own systems at any time.
9International Data Transfer
